This weekend I hired an amazing Medium format camera with a view to putting a digital back on it in the future. I went back and shot film, quite romantic was the feel of loading the film. Careful not to expose it the the light, really took me back. Clicking the shutter was strange, I went straight to the back to see if the result was good and suddenly, bang only a piece of paper reminding me there was a film loaded.

All the digital stuff for the last 6 years and this was alien but also very frustrating not to be able to see the instant result. How funny. Well I hope to scan and post at some stage when I get the images back from processing. I am looking at this expensive technology for a few high end portraits in the future but who knows.

It was good for the soul though to have to wait and not take the instant gratification all too often taken for granted these days.

Every so often i find something that is so great it inspires me to grab the camera. Credited to ric_uk at dpreview who spotted this and shared it. I extend his find and thoughts.

See how many famous people you can spot. Really good fun and great images all seemingly captured in the moment. Enjoy!

Great venue, great bride & groom, great weather. the images say it all. Helen is a beautiful woman and Lee is a lucky man who I think looks just like the FBI agent in Prison Break.
But that's our private joke.
