Just got back from a great pre Xmas shopping trip to New York with my family. We had a great 3 days weather was awesome, really warm.
Highlights were Tiffany,Apple Store on 5th, Toys r Us Times Square and B&H Photo. No clues as to who enjoyed what.
My son had never seen skyscrapers so a great intro. Service stank pretty much everywhere, but what the hell - forgetta boutit !!!
We got to do the tourist stuff and my wife got to fulfil a teenage dream, FAO Swartz and the BIG Piano.

Wow what a great night, I will not be posting images as discretion gets you a good reputation. Sophie knows some great people and I thank here for the invite to shoot with her. It was a classy shoot, snow machine, huge ice bar, champagne fountains and lots of beautiful people including a couple of "A" Listers.
I cannot say anymore other than it was a beautiful English Country Home, decorated to the hilt for Xmas and 300 guests ready to party in the brisk cold December night air.
I shot around 300 images some really cool people happy to pose for the camera.
I hope I get invited again.

A lovely photographer friend of mine has invited me to help her at a wonderful banquet Winter Ball end of this week. I am told it could have celebs and certainly will be a private affair so not sure if I can post, but I will try to capture the venue and the 500 year old buildings. Stay tuned

Today I managed to get back to see a great family who wanted some causal group shots for Xmas to send around to the in-laws. These were part of a book I was putting together for them.
They are wonderful people and the house is old with great character so I wanted a slightly eccentric look to the images. They were really happy I cannot wait for the books to get back from the printers.
